St. Aidan’s Neighborhood Garden
The neighborhood garden provided by St. Aidan's Epsicopal Church is for use of neighbors and friends of the church.
Fifteen square, raised plots are laid out for "home" gardeners.
The garden is open from May 31st through October 31st.
Plots are assigned on a 1st come, 1st served basis.
St. Aidan's provides water, a storage shed, and some basic tools, however gardeners are encouraged to bring their own hand tools.
Crops will be grown without the aid of chemical fertilizers, insecticides, or weed repellents to ensure the health of all who work in the garden.
When gardeners harvest, they are encouraged to donate any excess produce to the Hartford Food Pantry.
This project is part of St. Aidan's ongoing outreach program in the community.
Plots are $15 for the whole season.
If you are interested in renting out a garden plot,
please call the church office at 262-673-7273.
You have crowned the year with your bounty, and your paths overflow with a rich harvest.
