Mission Trip - Grace House on the Mountain
Sunday, August 4 though Saturday,
August 10, 2013
Grace House on the Mountain is a mission site sponsored by Episcopal Appalachian Ministries.
For five days, we work alongside of Episcopalians from around the country, doing home improvement work for families and individuals in the Appalachian Mountains of rural Virginia.
The work consists of basic construction and home improvement work, open to all healthy people 15 years of age or older, of all skill levels.
Accommodations are comfortable, but basic. Participants stay in all-new gender-specific cabins, with showers and bathrooms, on site.
The cost of the mission trip is $300 per person for the week, which includes all meals, equipment and supplies, as well as accommodations.
There will be some additional fundraising as a mission team to help cover the cost of transportation.
If you are interested in learning more about the trip, and if you might be interested in
participating on the mission team, please contact Pastor Anna Doherty at 262-673-7273 or email her
